Bewdley is an attractive Georgian town which is situated in the Wyre Forest and directly on the River Severn in North Worcestershire. It is an area with a rich agricultural and industry history and a gateway to the English – Welsh borderlands known as The Marches.
Bewdley has always been a favoured spot amongst tourists with the River Severn passing straight through, also with the ancient woodland of the Wyre Forest which surrounds Bewdley to the west of the town.
Another major tourist attraction of the town is the Severn Valley Steam Railway which calls at Bewdley.
There are also a range of events which take place in the town on an annual basis which include the Duck Race on January 01st, Discover Bewdley celebrations in May, Carnival, Pub and Club regatta and Bewdley Open Studios in June, Bewdley Regatta in July, Bewdley Beer festival In August, Bewdley Festival in October, and the Christmas Lights festival to name but a few.
